July 2023: Global Forest Watch deforestation alerts for 1 January to 30 July 2022 and 1 January to 30 July 2023 are compared to show that deforestation on Kwamtili has accelerated in the first half of 2023.

February 2022 & February 2023: Sentinel 2 satellite Time Series Analysis for high-resolution forest disturbance detection (see map and implementation note).

mid-2021 to mid-2022: satellite imagery is used to monitor illegal logging and agricultural activity on Kwamtili Estate (see map and implementation note).

September 2021: maps of vegetation indices used to monitor Kwamtili's forests and cocoa areas are now much sharper and clearer thanks to a Norwegian programme that distributes relatively high-resolution panochromatic satellite images (see implementation note).
