Implementation Note for Jura Mountains mapping

The redesigned OpenBuildingMap.org front-end website has been cloned (see front-end) and added to the Jura Mountains website. A landuse layer had been added to the original OBM front-end but not yet for the redesigned front-end. There are five other layers which are the layers provided by the OBM service. These were raster layers but they have been changed recently to vector layers.

The developers of the OBM website give relatively little information about how data is processed and loaded into  Postgresql database tables. For the landuse level, data was simply been loaded into a database using osm2pgsql. Details will be forthcoming as well as discussion of installing the OpenBuildingMap vector tile back-end.
